View School has been enthusiastically embracing the literacy initiative from the district.  Students are learning to use alternative pencils to write; giving ALL students access to writing.  Classrooms are also participating in the four blocks of literacy (shared reading, writing, self-selected reading, working with words) in a variety of ways learning to read and write.  We are collecting environmental print boxes (your cereal, cracker, snack boxes, etc.).  Please, if you can, send the boxes to school with your child.
